Right, you've 'double-clicked' on each of the folders and now you can see what's inside. Browse to the 'Pics' folder in 'The Nail Directory' folder on your desktop, now 'double-click on the 'Pics' folder itself and you will see your picture inside. Now repeat the process in the window on the right to open the 'Pics' folder in your webspace. If you have any pictures that were previously placed in this folder, You should now see a list of those pictures. Now all you have to do is transfer your pc-kick picture over to your webspace as shown in the illustration below.

Dont forget, all that we've done here is moved the pictures (or copies of them) to your webspace, we havent actually placed them on any of your pages. If all you want to do is edit a picture that is presently on your website and then upload it back to your site, let's say so that you may put a copyright mark on it, that is fairly straightforward, but remember that the pic you download to your computer and the pic you then upload back to your website must have identical dimensions (see pics.html). So, if your pic was 500 x 450 before you edited it, it should be 500 x 450 when you are ready to upload it. If the dimensions aren't identical, the newly uploaded picture will be out of proportion on your website resulting in a misshapen and blurred pic. You'll then have to edit the code on your webpage to reflect the new picture size. That's a seperate lesson.
